the youngest out of her three siblings. first came michael, then the twins harris and cassia. last but not least denise marie capulet was born on april 2nd 1988 in the town of gaffney, south carolina. her mother knew from the moment she was born, that she would be an extravagant child. she was always moving around and no sooner when she learned how to walk, she learned to dance. and when she learned to speak, she sang. at the tender age of four denise was placed into dance classes, and vocal lessons. if there's one thing that denise loves more than anything in the world it's entertaining people. she loves to sing, and her life dream is to become a famous broadway singer. however, for now she's settling for going to school to become a psychiatrist. she's decided to go back to her high school to intern as a counselor. she was always a teacher's pet type of girl. she was the one who got straight a's and always did as she was told. of course, she had her rebellious stage, but she didn't go too overboard with them. she always tried to keep herself in control. she's always giving advice to everyone, but when it comes to herself and her own inner conflicts, she's not so great with them. case in point her best friend josh kobak. she's had feelings for him ever since she could remember. when he left for college, she was a wreck. it was obvious to her best friend geanine whom she became very close with in one of her many dance classes and the two have been inseparable ever since. although she's been harboring these feelings for a long time, she doesn't want to risk her friendship with josh in fear that he doesn't feel the same way. plus, how awkward would that be to be living with your best friend whom you love but doesn't love you back? so instead, she pours out her feelings in songs during the night where she sings at local clubs and bars. she works part time at a coffee and pastry shop. besides her passion for entertainment, denise has a very tomboyish side to her. growing up with two brothers, it took it's toll on denise. she of course had her sister, but she was more interested in playing sports or video games and reading comics instead of barbies and make up. it wasn't until geanine began to teach her to embrace her feminine side. she's still trying to get used to it, but she's starting to feel a bit more comfortable in her own skin.
